What a game! I know I probably was in the minority last night watching the Celtics over the World Series, but that is because I am out here grinding to keep you all, our amazing readers, up to date with Boston Sports. Last night was a big game make no mistake. We were facing the team that was undefeated and is our lone loss of the season. Not only that but we were walking into this game without Al Horford because of his concussion that he got during practice. Practice. So if you expected for us to win this game without Al, people were going to need to step up. Well, then things got worst. Jae got hurt. And it looked bad.

Not gunna lie, I was pretty nervous.

Luckily we learned after the game that is was just a ankle sprain and he will probably be out for a week or so. So the Celtics, now missing Al and Jae, were going to have to sack up and finish this game. Someone was going to have to step up if the Celtics were going to stay in it. And that someone, that someone was Amir Johnson. Amir ended the game with 23 points(!!!) 6 rebounds and 3 assists. The best part of Amir’s night was how he racked those points up. Amir was 4 for 4 behind the arch! Sign this man up for the 3 point contest!!! He was on fire last night when the Celtics really needed it.

Amir really put the team on his back and stepped up big for the C’s last night. He was not the only Celtics big man to step up to the challenge last night. Tyler Zeller started at Center in place of Horford and played pretty well. He scored 11 points including this beaut of a dunk.

Talking about guys who put the team on their back, you can’t leave out the guy that does it night in and night out. Isaiah Thomas has been on an absolute tare this season. IT put up a double-double with 23 points 10 assists and 2 rebounds. The guy is playing even better than he did last year.

You can’t stop him. He is so fun to watch and it playing so well. He is averaging 24.3 points this season. Please tell me that he is a 6th man on a championship team, please. Isaiah is playing like one of the best Point Guards in the league because he is one of the best Point Guards in the league.

It was a great win for the C’s who really needed that win. These are the type of wins that forges your identity. You don’t have Al and then lose Jae, and you scrap it out and pull of the win. Now we head to Cleveland to face off against the Cavs which would be a tough game with everyone healthy. We won’t have Al. We won’t have Jae. And we won’t have Kelly. But guess what, we are gunna pull the upset. I just feel it in my bones. The whole Cavs team were out at Game 7 last night, you know JR brought a bottle of Henny in and passed it around. Bron Bron was gettin his drink on last night (and maybe even smokin a little somethin somethin?!)

Hey, I am no nark, but with our guys out, playing in their building, it just feels like this is a perfect upset game. But anyways, HIT THE MUSIC!
