I don’t know about you, but nothing quite gets me going like a workout video. Yes, no one is guarding him. Yes, he is in an empty gym. Is that mean I am not going to get wayyy to excited over Jayson Tatum hitting eighteen (18) straight threes? NOPE!
Remeber when Jayson was shooting like half of his threes at the beginning of the season? Well, guess what, he is back and better than ever. Just thinking about Tatum getting a whole offseason to get ready to build off his amazing rookie season makes me want to run through a brick wall. No getting ready for the draft. No summer league. Just get stronger and work on your game.
Just think about the leap Jaylen Brown made between his rookie and sophomore years? The 2nd year leap isn’t a myth. Tatum knows that he can be an elite NBA player and he knows after playing a whole season and a deep playoff run what he needs to work on. The sky is the limit for this kid.
P.S. It looks like Jayson isn’t the only Celtic training with NBA super trainer Drew Hanlen this summer. Our strongest son Semi Ojeleye has been training with him and is looking burlier than ever. God, Semi is going to be a monster this year once he figures out his shot. I mean he was a good shooter at SMU. If he gets his conferable shooting in the NBA, then watch out.
