SOURCE–   The American swimmers who claimed they were assaulted at gunpoint over the weekend by assailants posing as police officers fabricated their account of the episode, according to Brazilian investigators.

After watching video and hearing testimony from witnesses, the Brazilian police have determined the incident involved damage to a bathroom door at a gas station where the swimmers stopped in the early hours Sunday on the way back to the athletes’ village from a party.

A Brazilian police official who had reviewed the video images said that there had been no armed assault, contrary to what the swimmers had claimed. The official declined to be identified because the investigation was continuing.

The case made global headlines after the Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte claimed that men posing as police officers had pulled over their taxi and that an assailant had put a cocked gun to his forehead before taking his money. He later altered his account, saying the taxi stopped at a gas station so they could use the bathroom.

A different description of events is emerging from Brazilian authorities on Thursday. Officials say the taxi carrying the swimmers stopped at a Shell gas station about 6 a.m., shortly after the men exited a party at Club France, an Olympic hospitality house established here in the upscale Lagoa district.

At the gas station, which is in Barra da Tijuca, on the route to the athletes’ village, the swimmers went to the bathroom. In the process, according to the account by investigators, damage was done to the bathroom door and a discussion ensued with the manager and a security guard.

Someone at the gas station called the police, but by the time a police car arrived at the scene, the swimmers were gone. Witnesses, including a person who offered to translate for the swimmers, said that they paid money to the manager before leaving.

Why is this such a big story? I literally have no idea. Like is anyone surprised that Ryan Lochte, the man who thinks he created the term ‘Jeah’, lied about getting mugged in Rio. Like the thing that actually surprised me was that anybody actually believed the story in the first place. Not only the fact that it actually happened, because lets face it, Rio is a shit hole, but the fact that with a gun pointed at his head Ryan just said “whatever”? Are you fucking kidding me? Hahaha yeah ok bud.

This story is so interesting to me for some reason. Maybe because everything else about the Olympics so far has been boring. But the shit that is getting released about this story is crazy, yet predictable.

The fact that they were not robbed at gun point. The fact that they were actually being confronted about kicking through a gas station bathroom door. Like oh really? They made up a story that made them victims to cover up the fact that they were assholes? Oh wow please tell me more…

I love the fact that Ryan peaced out of Rio long before the shit hit the fan. Especially how the other swimmers were legit on the plane heading back to the US when the Brazil police nabbed them. Fucking hilarious. Good luck with that shit boys. A Brazilian jail is right up there on the places I would rather die than be in. So I wouldn’t be surprised at all if all these reports of what actually happened came from the mouths of the swimmer themselves. Fuck, I would have given up the whole story walking through the airport once they nabbed me. Anything to get me back to the states.

But who would have thought, Ryan Lochte, the dumbest Olympian, was smart enough to get the fuck out of Rio in time.

P.S.   The other swimmers are stuck in Jail in Brazil. Lochte don’t give a fuckkkkk
