The Patriots Are World Champions For The 5th Time

What is there to say, this might be the best game is sports history. Don’t get me wrong, the Patriots Seattle game was amazing, but that comeback, for the 5th championship, just unreal. I am lost for words. Who else but Brady could comeback from 28-3. Nobody that who. Tom Brady is the best ever and that was an all time performance. So lets get into it.

I don’t have a lot of take aways from the first half except the offense looked like shit. There is no other way to look at it. Brady had no time to get the ball out because the Falcons were grouping their rushers on the edges and overloading the Offensive Tackles. There were times where the interior line had no one to block and looked confused. This led to over throws, under throws, and in general too many bad throws. The worst being the pick 6 and then the play right after which would have been another interception if Bennett didn’t puck it out of the air somehow. It was one of the worst halves I have seen Brady and the Offense look.

But like there always is with a Bill Belichick coached team, there were half time adjustments. Brady picked it up and it all turned around for the Pats.

Brady was playing at his level of play and the Defense stepped up and shut the Falcons down. After letting them score in the beginning of the 3rd quarter, they shut them out for the rest of the game and showed everyone why they were the #1 ranked Defense in the whole league. Nothing was bigger than the strip sack by Dont’a Hightower.

Let me know if this sounds familiar, Danny Amendola was clutch and has a great Super Bowl. Time and time again Danny steps up and makes the big plays.

And talking of clutch, how about Julian Edelman’s UNREAL catch. Hands down the best catch I have ever seen. And after the David Tyree and Jermaine Kearse heart breakers, it is nice for one of these to go our way.

And now the best for last, JAMES WHITE HAVE A DAY!!! He set the record for receptions in a Super Bowl and had 3(!!!!) touchdowns. Just stupid stupid numbers.

Who would have thought on the goal line in overtime you would hand it off to James White? No one thats who. What a Super Bowl performance. He will always be remembered by this game.

I still can’t believe it, I really can’t. I just want to thank everyone for reading these blogs this season. It has really been a magical season from beginning to end and I will never forget it. And none of this would be possible without you guys. Thank you so much.
