SOURCE–    I think with Brady, any time you have a little bit of a dip in performance, you have to ask. The main problem here is you don’t get a warning. It just happens so fast and then that’s it. I do think it’s something worth asking. The main thing for the Patriots is they need to know what they have…If they know Brady is limited, I think they’ll spend the bye week figuring it out and then they’ll problaby end up being fine because they’ll gameplan around it.

You can’t make this stuff up. Every single year these takes get recycled over and over and over again. Lazy hot take artists act like they are the smartest person in the room and are saying something that hasn’t been incorrectly said for the last half-decade.

They think they are geniuses for say the Patriots dynasty is over. That the Patriots will never go back to another Super Bowl. That Tom Brady is going to fall off a cliff. That Tom Brady will be a bum in short order.

It doesn’t matter which network it’s on. It doesn’t matter if you’re watching TV or listening to the radio. Everyone and their mother lovesssssss to predict the demise of the New England Patriots. I don’t blame them either. The Patriots run has been so so so long. I mean we are talking 17 years of Tom Brady and the Patriots winning championships. It has to get old. I mean as a Celtics fan, I can’t wait for Golden States’ run to end. The Warriors have been dominate for only the last 5 years. So I get the reason why everyone hates. I understand why everyone wants someone new to get a shot at a championship. The fact of the matter is that unfortunately for all the haters, of which there are many, Tom Brady is not falling off the cliff.

The Patriots are fine. I understand they haven’t looked great, and when you compare this team to some of the other Patriots teams in the past, they might not stack up that well. But the truth is that the Patriots are still on the best teams in the league this year. They are going to win the division, they are going to get a bye, and they are going to go back to the AFC Championship. Obviously, where that game is played is going to have a big factor if they make it to the Super Bowl. However, when you look at the rest of the Patriots schedule, you can see they have a real shot at winning out. I am sorry to disappoint the haters. But the Patriots and Tom Brady aren’t going anywhere.
